Exit Fiat and enter the Metaverse: A Short Guide

What if I told you there was a new and superior economic system emerging on The Web, in parallel to the one you are living in today? One that as long as you have an internet connection does not discriminate against who can use it or even between definitions of work and play. One where anyone can take a direct stake in it, and its success, even only if a fraction. One where millions of people, simply by committing a couple of hundred dollars of capital, some spare time or even the unused capacity of their laptop or wifi, are already in the process of creating generational wealth. A wealth that lives on the internet, that can not be confiscated and that they have full control over wherever they are in the world.

To many this sounds like the opening of a bad pyramid scheme. But this economic system has been in development for over a decade, in direct response to the last 2008 financial crisis, and in the process has made more millionaires than any nation state on the planet and can be thought of as an entirely new form of nation; a permissionless, borderless and universally inclusive nation, what you might call a meta-verse.

And it is an economic system that has already changed the lives of millions of people all around the world; enabling a true form of financial inclusion, freedom and emancipation, albeit digitally. You may already know of this meta-verse more narrowly, in its earliest form, as ‘crypto’. But it is much much more than it seems at first glance. As a Metaverse, it is a meta-economy, one that will enjoy supremacy to, and independence from the nation states we all live in today. And the more time and money we invest in it, the quicker it becomes a reality and the more leverage we as citizens have to renegotiate the terms of our physical citizenship and its social contracts.

In this short guide, I am going to show you how to (progressively and pragmatically) exit fiat and enter the Metaverse…
